Alternative to JoyWarrior24-A8

Hi

I'd like to know if there is an alternative to this IIC: JoyWarrior24-A8

that is a 3 channel AD/converter to acquire 8 bit data from 100Kohm potentiometres and a USB port to read data from PC.

i'd like to find something similar or build something similar using an USB PIC.
my problem is that i've to use 10Kohm potentiometres instead of 100Kohm and datasheet says it will loose resolution with potentiometres smaller than 100K.

there is a usb circuit with atmega8 (8 analog ports and 16 buttons).
the firmware is free.
