It is a self made airbrush compressor. It is quiet and small, professional and safe. What more, it can be used in any place, also at home.
You will need a piece of kitchen counter, fire extinguisher and a compressor.
Nipples and ½ inch sleeves would be useful. You should drill two holes: in the top of the extinguisher – for the connector and for the safety valve 6atm.
And another hole in the bottom of the extinguisher for mounting the drain valve – for example you can mount venting of radiators.
Two screws of 5mm dia should be screwed, so you can mount the fire extinguisher to a piece of kitchen counter.
Sleeves and a nipple, which was cut into half, were soldered to the cylinder.
There is a fuel filter mounted on the sucking side of the compressor. The output of the compressor was connected with the cylinder by a pressure tubing of inside diameter 6mm and resistance10atm. A dryer was mounted in the middle of the tubing to minimize the ingress of water and oil from the compressor to the cylinder.
Then, air goes through a tee to:
- cylinder ended with an original valve (so that after use, you can drain all the air) and manometer indicating the current pressure in the cylinder
- pressure switch set so that it turns off the compressor after it reaches 5 atm., and turns it on when the pressure drops to 3 atm.
- pressure regulator and water separator ended with a quick coupling

The device stands on a rubber pads, which reduce vibtations and rubber feet.
