Hello,

I am new to accelero-meters.

I have several ADXL345 boards with me. I am reading XYZ data over I2C. However, different boards have different level of sensitivity to the jerk/change in their orientation.

The most used one (oldest) has least sensitivity while the brand new is very sensitive. I am using the same code for testing all of the ADXL345 boards.

By sensitivity I mean change in XYZ value w.r.t change in orientation and/or movement.

Any body has any idea what is happening?

You need calibration of your Si MEMS accelerometers.

Can you remember your iPhone needs 360 degree turn around occasionally?

You must implement application specific calibration method for your own requirement?
