advise on netbook motherboard repair

Hello mr Sandip Golani , im a big fan of yours , recently my wife spilled water on her asus Eee PC 1015BX seashell series she immediately turned it off but didn't wait long enough to turn it back on , when she turned it back on and pressed enter the screen looked like a TV screen when there's no reception i think horizontal lines, she then called me and i told her to put it in a bag with rice for a few days then she brought it to me... i powered it on and everything turned on fine , except the screen was completely white there was no sound but there's was hard drive activity ,i opened it up to check for obvious faults but could not find any , i then started to look for a schematic but could not find one for that particular model, i also tried looking for a replacement motherboard but no luck it's a asus HannStar J MV-4 94V-0,,so a month passed and i powered it on again but now there's was no hard drive activity and now the screen was totally black im thinking it had no power at all.. i know the best thing is to get a new computer , but i really want to gain some experience in motherboard repair. my question : is there any hope for my net book ??? your advise is much appreciated:?:
