hi all ,i want to know the advantage of ttl over cmos technology.i advantage that i know is of electric discharge.can anybody elaborate this advantage.

i think you mean electrostatic discharge when you are using electric discharge.....

electrostatic discharge can damage a MOS... electrostatic discharge occurs when a charged body touches the gate of the MOS... if the body is charged enough it blows its way through the gate damaging it and making it useless... this is why people generally wear gloves which are then grounded through thick wires while handling MOS chips....
