#!/bin/csh
#ads2009.csh
# Agilent ADS 2009 Update 1
#
setenv HPEESOF_DIR /usr/local/ADS2009U1

setenv RFDE_SKILL_DIR $HPEESOF_DIR/idf/skill/5.1.0
setenv PATH {$HPEESOF_DIR/bin}:${PATH}
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH {$HPEESOF_DIR/adsptolemy/lib.linux_x86}:{$LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH {$HPEESOF_DIR/lib/linux_x86}:{$LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH {$HPEESOF_DIR/adsptolemy/lib.linux_x86_64}:{$LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH {$HPEESOF_DIR/lib/linux_x86_64}:{$LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
setenv SIMARCH linux_x86_64
ads &

cd /usr/ads
csh ads2009.csh

error:
: Command not found.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH: Undefined variable.

pls tell me why
thanks!

export not required in csh.

Couple of things I would look at:

1. Are you sure LD_LIBRARY_PATH has been set before the line

setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH {$HPEESOF_DIR/adsptolemy/lib.linux_x86}:{$LD_LIBRARY_PATH}

echo the value to be sure.

2. You are mixing ${var} vs {$var}. Sometimes that makes a difference.

according to https://www.edaboard.com/threads/176787/, I fixed my problem.

Re: ADS 2009 in Debian - start up
I use longer script:
1. I extend in.bashrc:

Code:
HPEESOF_DIR=/home/Programs/ADS2009U1
PATH=.:$HPEESOF_DIR/bin/linux_x86_64:$HPEESOF_DIR/bin:$PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/adsptolemy/lib.linux_x86:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/lib/linux_x86:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/adsptolemy/lib.linux_x86_64:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/lib/linux_x86_64:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
SIMARCH=linux_x86_64

export HPEESOF_DIR
(It is recommended Agilent for 64 bit Linux, but thus loadtime slightly increases)

2. And a simple script for start ADS:
Code:
#!/bin/sh
#
#Startup script for ADS2006A
cd /home/igor/Programs/ADS2009U1/bin
ads
And that laziness each time to come into house directory ADS.

I will try your variant, can start will faster.

Now, the ADS2009_FOR_linux works, I want to use momentum in cadence, can you tell me how I should modify the cdsint , where is the cdsint.
cadence parth: /usr/cadence
ads path:/usr/ADS/ADS2009U1
# .bashrc for ADS
HPEESOF_DIR=/usr/ADS/ADS2009U1
PATH=.:$HPEESOF_DIR/bin/linux_x86:$HPEESOF_DIR/bin:$PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/adsptolemy/lib.linux_x86:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/lib/linux_x86:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/adsptolemy/lib.linux_x86_64:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HPEESOF_DIR/lib/linux_x86:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
SIMARCH=linux_x86

export HPEESOF_DIR

I failed in this way:
I modifed the cdsint in this fold:/usr/cadence/tools/dfII/local.
add this line:
load(strcat(getShelEnvVar(“HPEESOF_DIR”) “/idf/config/.cdsinit”))

can you tell me what's wrong with me?
thanks!
