ADS problem during DXF Import!... Help...

Dear all,

im having problem with ADS2006 dxf import.

Whenever i import a DXF file into layout, an error message pops up:

"File 'C:\documents' is not a DXF file".

Then another pops up:

"The program had a problem opening the file c:\documents provided as a command line argument. Last line processed 0."


Pls assist!! Thank you all!
 

I'm having this problem too

can anyone help?
 

Probably you are trying to read the DXF file from a folder under C:\Documents and Settings on a Windows XP PC. ADS does not like spaces anywhere in the path to a file. Copy or move the file to a folder whose path has no spaces like C:\users\default and then it should read correctly.
