Hi all,
Does any one know how to build a new verilog-A model in ads2004a ? i already know how to open and modify a built model (the models that came with the kit) but i tried to make my own model. i wrote the code and put it in the directory of the auto compilation search path (project_dir/veriloga) and the ads shows that it is compiled and with no errors. But i failed to use this model in my schematic.. and i didn't know where i find this model or how to make it a device in the palette as the models came with the kit..
Any help will be greatly appreciated..
Thanks for ur concern in advance..

@DS 2004A Verilog-A problem

Hi,

made a design kit and followed the ADS manuals "Using Verilog-A in Advanced Design Systems", Appendix A and "Design Kit Developement". The most important is the item declaration in the netlist (.AEL file) and the placement of the .va files in the directory. After you the did all the Design kit declarations (AEL, Bitmaps, Symbols etc.) you can get your the component in the palette.
