I have a portable mp3 player that I would like to play while in my car. I can use a tape adapter but where is the fun in that? :p

Where would be a good place to input the signal from my mp3 player to the car stereo? My car stereo is a cd/tape player and i'm willing to sacrify my tape player to add an aux input.

Can I somehow input my cd player output to the car stereo's antenna input and tune to some freq to hear the cd player?

Hi David,

It's not imposible but you will losse Quality .
The best result should be like cassette quality.

radio tuners haven't got digital decoding like satlites ,
even FM radio channel is not a real digital encoding,
so no way to get CD quality with wireless.

if you don't care about Cd quality ,making this ,is very easy.
I tried it before ,and worked perfect [except CD quality !!!]

I haven't got any useful shematic for this, :?
I just know this chip [ MC2833 from Motorola ] it should be good ,
just a problem! it's MONO,
beter to find a single chip sterio modulator ,use Google

Hope helped
Mosh
