Hi i am interested in obtaining features from an acoustic echo which shall help in classifying the target from which it came, basically the features which need to be extarcted from the echo need to cater for the fact that irrewspective of the target orientation i am able to correctly decipher the general shape.

To this effect is it possible to write some codes , and how would the scenario be different if i were doing the same thing in air.

My echo processing i believe is 2D but the target is 3D.

This is an Active Sonar Classifier. Please help with the codes.

Which Algorithm must be used.
