Idea to create it appear when I grab to my hands old recycle speaker column. Speakers and branch was a garbage, but box was in good condition. I decided to took and used it, as my first amplifier.

Components:
- amplifier 22W at TDA 1554q chip
- Li-Pol 11.1V 2.2 Ah battery
- low tones speaker – Tonsil gdn 12/50/1 (4 ohm)
- middletones speaker – hanssen 4 ohm 3 inch – I’m looking for some better at the moment
- Tonsil ZgC 30-8/51 box, 5l capacity
In electric meaning construction is very simple, there’s no need to describe. In mechanical meaning there was much more job. Speakers were a little bit larger then original, so I need to swing a file few times. Biggest problem was to place potentiometer and switcher in ergonomic place. Usually those parts are situated at front panel but here, this solution was impossible. So I decided to place everything at top board.
Some problem was to get into the battery. I couldn’t allow to any leak at casing, and I need to get to power cables and service plug. I also need to have possibility to disconnect power without unscrewing, as all we know even when amplifier is off, power amp needs some power, Li-xxx cells are very sensitive for unload, a little unstable and expensive. I solve that problem by plastic stopper at the back of the casing, at place where previously were amplifier wires.
Sound impression, very positive. Only high tones are poor, but I’m looking for some better speaker. Low tones – perfect. I didn’t expect that Tonsil is so good.
