Dear all,
here is i am attaching here 2 circuits for AC staiblizer can any one explain their accuracy and also provide PCB layout design which can i print on a blank PCB. also suggest is this circuit is good or not. your appreciation will be highly obliged.

There is no 'accuarcy' they are both using taps on an autotransformer to step up the voltage by different amounts. The output can only be whatever comes from the transformer so it depends on how many taps you use. The circuits are essentially the same, one using mechanical switching, the other electronic switching. Both will work, the mechanical one will have breaks in the supply as the switches operate and the electronic one risks more then one triac conducting simultanously and shorting part of the transformer windings.

The other crude bit of both the circuits is that it only uses one transformer that has to handle all the output power. So take as an example a 1KW unit that has to increase the voltage by 10%, in these designs you need a 1KW transformer. If you just put an extra 23 V in series with the incoming mains then you only need a 100W transformer. And you could arrange to use the same transformer to "subtract" 23 V from the incoming mains. Also you can do your switching on the 23V mains transformer primary, so you can use .5A triacs.
