AC/DC power supply for indicating lamp

Can anybody tell me how to form AC/DC universal power supply for indicating lamps.

If your indicating lamps require a low voltage then do a search on SMPS = switch mode power supplies.

I should have 12V and 10mA current for 3 leds in series.Area is very less.So is there any low cost compact solution....
