AC current sensor

Hi.. i want to design the AC/DC current sensor for my small wind turbine. I already searched in the website.. they are IC sensor from Linear technology, allegro, and Maxim-IC.. unfortunately, it is difficult to get that component in my area..

anyone know other k\component that can be used for current sensor? or any simple schematic diagram for this current sensor..

thanks for your help

Resistor + optocoupler or just resistor?

AC current sensor

A resistor or a current transformer can be used as AC current sensor. But what is an "AC/DC current sensor"? A sensor with a
succeding rectifier circuit? If so, do you need a RMS rectifier? A simple full wave rectifier can be made as a one or two OP circuit,
you'll find the circuit in most OP circuit text books and manufacturer application circuit libraries.
