tektronix tds1002 rs-232

I want to know the pin's define of TDS1002 rear interface, please help me, THX.

tds1002 manual

Which connector? That scope has GPIB, RS-232, and parallel printer interfaces.

The RS-232 pinout is in the TDS1000 series user manual that you can download from Tektronix web site (after free registration). The manual doesn't give GPIB or printer interface pinouts, but they are common industry standards. You can also download the service manual, but it doesn't have any schematics.

For GPIB info, find a copy of IEEE standards 488.1-1987 and 488.2-1992.

For the parallel port, IEEE standard 1284* will probably be helpful. Lots more info here: **broken link removed**

Use the Tektronix manual finder to download "TDS1000 and TDS2000 Series User Manual" part number 071106400 or file 071106400.pdf. You may have to register, but it's free.

If you want to use RS-232 interface, you should close the GPIO interface first.
