sfdr dac

I want to simulate SFDR.I have a thought.I use hspice.
My inputs are digital signals and let output is a sine wave.
Then I do fft.I don't know that this idea is correct or incorrect.
Please tell me.My output is a sine wave and how do i do about my input.
Maybe you have a good thought ,and please tell me or teach me.

Your idea is good, except that you need to simulate at least 3 or 4 periods ... your simulation may take 1 week or so.
Second, when running your simulation, don't forget to include mismatch, maybe 1run MonteCarlo can do it for you if you're lazy to modify your netlist.
Finally, SS models, low VDD, high temp can give you a worst case!

Dear okguy,
How do I do, if I want to let my output is like sine wave?
And How do I run Monte Carlo? Can you teach me or support some book or information. Thank you.

You can find a good explanation of simulation techniques at CMOS Mixed-Signal Circuit Design by R. J. Baker
