I am designing an LNA with using eldo RF simulator
I do have clear idea of LNA
bt any one knows abt eldo rf..sst analysis..fundamental freq. n harmonics??
how to use it or any ref docs. i have refer manual bt nothing useful in it..
I am designing 2-4GHz LNA.

Re: about mentor grphics eldo rf simulator

EldoRF is a Harmonic balance based RF simulator, .sst is the analysis command and fundamental is the frequency of interest, nr of harmonics to include, are roughly speaking (for simulation purposes) for accuracy, about 10-15 should be fine for accuracy and speed.
do you subscribe to supportnet.mentor.com, you might find info on supportpages.
thanks

Re: about mentor grphics eldo rf simulator

thnx a lot atul... ya aftr posted here I have subscribe to supportnet.mentor.com .
I still have one dought..
I want to do SST , SSTNoise & SSTAC analysis.
In LNA I have to give AC, sine wave input..k
If I am forcing at input with AC, in it they r not asking for freq., so while SST analysis the error comes: fund freq and input freq dont match.
Or if I force the input with only SINE wave input in which they r asking 4 freq. , so in SSTAC analysis error comes : thers no AC supply at input.
I cant get rid of it... there r two ways both have 1 error
Try to help me..where I am wrong?
thnx a lot... :)
