In addition to Class-AB,Class D becomes the workhorse of audio amplifier.I once designed a open-loop Class-D,but its perfermance is not good enough.I heard that close-loop Class-D can obtain better perfermance.Can anyone offer some materials about it?

Wery true, And now the Class-D amplifier has overcomed some of its main limitations and is now ready to take market-shares. TI and Ice Power are some of the pioneers in these new methods and you can find the Phd thesis that shows some of the ideas here (this includes a lot about closed loops);

I find many useful papers in the URL you provide. :)
I wonder whether you can give me some suggestions about ocp,ovp and otp(Over-Currnt-Protection,Over-Voltage-Protection,Over-Temperature-Protection) in class-D amplifier.
And in power amplifiers such as class-D,is special esd protection needed?
