User arekd555 presents his three-phase electrode welder based on a three-phase transformer 6 kW. There were some modifications applied to it with time but now there is no space to add something more. The secondary coiling was wound with a tape 16 mm2, voltage 3 x 34 V AC connectes as a star, half-controlled rectifier plus remote control rectifier 65VDC, chore on a 20 cm2 core, 3 mm slit and resistor restricting current of the remote control at the level of about.10 A. The controller of the thyristor was built on the basis of the data found on the Internet, of course, with welding current regulation with measurement on the current shunt.
