I have this problem
I need to build a digitally programmable gain amplifier with variation of 1-10. For this I use a digital potentiometer MCP42xxx. The problem is that here I can get only a 10 k resistor, and for this reason a typical configuration of noninverting amplifier with the digital potentiometer on the feedback path (which need other resistor about 1k) crash the current limit of my digpot (max 1mA). How can I get the same gain (1-10) with this potentiometer?

thanks
