when I have installed this software, I can use the pt_shell rightly, but when I run it's gui model , it said "error can't find share libraries liborg.so"
I can't find the lib in install dictory.
why?

This is a problem with your Linux version. Please use the recommened Linux. i.e. RedHat 7.2 or 6.2 or whatever.

Also, I think you can search in google for the liborg.so file

According to Synopsys:

1. Most MainWIN (MW) based GUIs (DC, PT) today still have problems in RedHat 7.2...
2. The old 'design_analyzer' GUI (which is Motif based) - works fine.
3. Starting from 2003 all Synopsys GUIs will be based on QT.
4. 'physopt_gui' is the first QT based GUI which is already available since 2002.05. Works fine.
5. Workarounds - What do do in mean time:
- Either download interim DC/PT binaries for RedHat 7.2
- Use RedHat 7.3 (I have verified that all GUIs work fine there)
- Use 'physopt_gui' instead of 'design_vision' (it is a superset)
