The first two figures show two 'π' resistive attenuators, with 1 dB and 4 dB attenuation respectively.
What I want to do is to place these two attenuators in series and then to design a switch from MOS RF transistor which will control the circuit.
The problem that I didn't manage to design the switch(the circuit inside the black square in figure 3). Ok, when Vin=0 V and the transistor is in cut off region(works as an open circuit) everything works well and I had an attenuation of 5 dB (1 from the first attenuator and 4 from the second). How can make a short circuit, to skip the first attenuator and manage to accomplish an only 4 dB attenuation?
thanks a lot
