Dear All,

First of all, i wish you all luck and happiness in the new year.

Now, I'm working on HFSS 10 and i need to know if their any ability to export the plotted Field inside any cavity in terms of V/m to an external file ??

I need to get the field values that HFSS simulated in order to do some further process and write a Matlab code that defines the Field/Particle interaction inside a magnetron cavity.

Thank you so much
Best regards,
Goher

i have a idea:
set a plane(2D) inside the cavity and then you can get the field on this plane.

quote from hfss help:
A plane object is a cutplane through the problem region. You can plot fields or perform field computations on its surface. Planes are always considered non-model objects by HFSS

I don't think you would be able to export field data as a volume matrix.

People from ansoft are very keen not to let costumers use non-ansoft postprocessing tools.
