razivi
Hi, all: I am learning the book Design of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuit writed by Razavi. Now, there have two questions that I don't understand:
1. In the page 192, he said: "An interesting point realved byEq.(6.47)…………The zero can also be obtained by the method of Fig 6.15". But from fig 6.31, we know point of the intersection of the path M1,M3, M4 and the path M2 is Vout, other than point E. so the pole and the zero should be in the Vout. So I do not think that sentence in page 192 is right.
2. In page 369, in section 10.6, he said "if Cc could conduct current from the output node to node x but not vice versa, then the zero would mvoe to a very high frenquency……this can be accomplished by inserting a source follower in series with the capacitor". But from Eq10.33, the zero is -gm2/Cc who is not higher than the zero value who was produced in the condation of no source follower in series with the capacitor. so I do not understand that sentence.
