A problem about Cadence IC5.0 Linux?

When i use Cadence IC5.0 Linux, i export a CDL netlist of a schematic.
But i found the netlist is incorrect sometimes, someone has found this too.
Is there a bug in Cadence IC5.0 Linux?

Another problem i found with IC5.0 and NCSU CDK is that the LSW window with metal options in case of layout editor cannot be closed, once opened. I am forced to exit ICFB to close this window. REgarding netlisting from Virtuoso where is the option for netlist? I directly use spectre's option for netlisting and simulation.

Hello,
the problem with the LSW window is not ncsu-specific. it's a general problem from ic5 at all platforms. i spoke with a guy from c@dence, but even he did't know why it has such a behavior. there is a trick to close this window. i have to look i a book to solve this little problem.

Now i believe there have many bugs in Cadence IC5.0.

Sure.I never trust IC 5.00 in Linux platform. It's the first version in Linux verson. Try to upgrade to the latest version or switch to Solaris verson

Does the update solve these problems? I use IC50 for linux just for fun. All my designs are finished with IC50 for solaris.

When you use 'analogLib' library,you must add :
setenv CDS_Netlisting_Mode Analog
in your .cshrc file
If not,you can use 'sample' library
I think this is ok
