hi friends,
I can't find what is this diode. it has mark T3. with diode mode test in forward bias drop 0.5v and in reverse bias is open. I thought it's a zener diode and i put it on a circuit with 30 volts reverse bias but, it didn't on.
thanks for your help.
hi, I've placed a resistor in series and applied the 30 V across this series configuration, and measured the reverse diode voltage drop. in addition, current was zero.
thanks
You have checked that the device is no Z-diode with less than 30V breakdown voltage, it can be still a higher voltage Z-diode or simply a small signal switch/rectifier like 1N4148.
Marking codes are unfortunately vendor specific. Most through hole parts are marked with full part number, I'm not aware of a marking code list for through hole parts, except vendor documents that are showing the exact marking format including date code.
