a cross coupled pair
for a cross coupled pair which resistor is ('-2/gm')
and ('-1/gm) for one side .
if we add a diode connected mos in parallel with it (1/gm2) . the total resistor will be ('1/(gm2-gm))
use it as a decision stage of an comparator
if gm2 a little bigger there is no hysteresis but improve gain of the comparator .
if gm bigger there is hysteresis but reduce the gain of the comparator .
for a dc used comparator of hysteresis 20mv .I use gm>gm2
if for a/d 100M 8 bit convertor I use gm2>gm a little bit for gain and offset reason
Is it right?
another thing is if gm=gm2 ,and some offset .is there any problem of the polarity of input?
