a condensor is labelled 4k7 , what it mean ? what ll be code in terms of other units

ohh kk so another marked code other than 4k7 on capacitor will be . . . . ???????????
 

4k7 is 4.7nf precisely. You can also say its 4700pf .Whats the other code?
 

nah none other than this . . k please tell me about one thing .
i am designing an 810 amplifier where a 4k7 cap.is used from pin 5 to ground , if i want to use a substitue wat would be the value ? please reply
 

Not sure about this, probably a 5.6nF or 6.8nF cap available in the market which are nearest to the range.

hmm ya k so 5.6nf means 5k7 & 6.8nf means 6k8 ? right ?
 

yes, thats right though sometimes its written as 5n6 and 6n8 esp. the ceramic or mylar types

What do you mean "810"? Is it an AD810 Video Op Amp? If so, why are you connecting a capacitor to pin 5? That pin is for offset null. If it's come other kind of "810", then please tell us what it is.

ya its easy but presently not for me so i am searching substitute cause an idea of ordering a whole sale lot is . . . . u know

sir in post #9 you talked about a video op amp , what's that ? how can it be used in a simple way ?
can i make any application of it for any new design ?
