can anyone recommend any analog electronics books in which they main focus of the writer is on the reason why a particular component is used at a certain position of a circuit????

refer to some elementary electronic books such as "The art of electronics" by Paul Horowitz, or "electronic devices and circuit theory " from Boylestad and Nashlesky
