can anyone reccomend me a good design to develop hard en soft for the 80c32 .
i do have an eprom emulator
i'll be needing ad conversion frequency measuring lcd output etc .

I think you could use Phillips 89C51RD2 with 20MHz.
 

If you have an eprom emulator you can also use a romless 8051 family member like 80C32 (easier to get and cheaper).

A 80C32 needs only an oscillator, eprom and adres latch to run. I use a 74HC573 as the datalatch. Datasheets can be found at:

hi,

if you need a lot of i/o-ports try the dallas ds87c550.
The software problem will be solved with K*eil. Download the evaluation software !

I design uPLC/TB51 (an Emulator and training board for 8051).
It is very good for simulating hardware with 8051.
If you want, I upload its features.
