Why we use pull up resister at the ports??
and can we use this resisters at all the ports??

in 8051 pull up resistors placed at port0 only.

but in controller we have provided with some space near ports. why we have that space??

I want to know that as we have pull on resisters on port 1, so can we use these resister on each ports of controller??

pull up resistors in port 0 only in other ports we not need this resistors.
