Dear all

im new in to the field of the micrcontroller , i working currently with 8051 based family, I need to simulate and debug my code using a certain simulator that support vertual displays and other digital integrated circuits and basic element

I have heard about Proteus,,, but I dont have basic knowledge about it, is it good simulator ? i mean can I test my code there and debug it ?

do you have any other suggestion for more other powerful tool or you see the sufficient ?

I would welcome and highly appreciate your discussion and opinion in this topic

Yes, Proteus is good. You can also try 8051 simulator from Oshonsoft. Yes, you can debug .cof files in Proteus. You have LCD and GLCD.
