iam designing telecommunication system that needs to make a cable between two blocks carrying 622Mpbs. what is the maximum length of the cable with no degradation in the signal.

what kind of cable is that?
copper wire or fiber optic?
as i know only fiber optic cable could deliver as much...
the maximum length depend on the manufacture and the cable series there is one type of cable could run as far as 5km without signal degradation.

Hope this help
