If you're only looking for footprints, you can get the free footprint generator "PCB Footprint Expert Lite" based on the IPC-7351C from here: https://www.pcblibraries.com - this program will create unlimited footprints to any major CAD format at no cost. It actually outputs footprints to your native CAD format. Only catch is you cannot save the CAD neutral data (for later retrieval or cross CAD use), nor change the default preferences.
