50kW liquid or solid state rheostat

I need to build a rheostat preferably liquid but can also be solid state (with SCR, IGBT, power MOSFET, etc.). For testing and calibration of shunts, voltmeters and ammeters in welding machines type electrode or MIG. The upper limit will be 600A pulsed with 80Vcc at 180Hz. The test is quick and should take two to five minutes with 15 minute intervals between machines.
