hi
i want to have dc 4.8 volts by connecting 4 batteries(1200mah 1.2 volt)
which batteries are better, i also want to have schematics of circuits
to be able to charge that batteries(not to be complicated chargers)
can anyone help me on this?
thanks

You may consider 1200mAh NiMH [nickel-metal hydride] batteries ..

Here is an example of a simple charger (for 4 cells connected in series) \:

BC557 is not suitable for currents above 100mA; I would replace it with BC327, BC807 or BD136 ..

Just be aware that fully charged 1.2V NiMH battery will have a voltage of ≈1.4V, so 4 of them ≈5.6V ..
