I need 5.1 channel (2 front+2rear+1center+1woofer speaker ) amplifier schematic. If someone have creative inspire 5.1 or edifier 5.1 speaker schematic kindly reply me.Schematic of other 5.1 channel speaker systems with input circuitry (not only amplifier) are also welcome.
Dear,
I agree with ur reply.I have four speakers(2front,2Rear) with a wattage of 18Watts, a center speaker 23W and a woofer of 60Watt.They all have 4 ohm impedance.Main issue is the input circuitry which have some kind of op amp to control input gain as well as the bass and volume control. The normal potentiometer volume control for 6 inputs is not available.
Second the cost of creative amplifier ic cannot be calculated bcz i do not found these ic in market.but there is another solution for them that u can use Philips audio amplifier ic instead of them. These are available as stereo and quad amplifiers.
Thanks for your kind reply.

Dear Audioguru,
One more thing to tell you.I have Philips DVD player with 5.1 channel output. My five speakers are also of Philips.I find them in a container lot without Sub woofer & amplifier.I purchased a (Sub woofer made in china) having 60 watt typical power.I made an amplifier based on Philips quad amplifier ic(sorry i do not remember part number) from their respective application notes but that is a simple amplifier. It does not have the qualities of a professional 5.1 channel system like creative inspire or edifier.
The Sanyo STK4392 hybrid amplifier is old.
Its output is only 7.5W RMS per channel (two channels) into 8 ohms from 30Hz to 20kHz with a 39V supply at a horrible 1% distortion. At only 1kHz its output is 15W RMS at 1% distortion.
Modern amplifier ICs have much more power over a wider bandwidth with much less distortion.
If the DVD player has an output to feed a sub-woofer's amplifier then simply make or buy an amplifier that is powerful enough when feeding the impedance of your sub-woofer speaker.
