Hi,

I am looking for back panel connector for 19inch 6U VME create. I have heard the connector is known as P1 connector and has designated pins. Usually power and common ground between the PCBs is shared through these connectors. Does anyone know how to find the part number and footprint of such connectors ?

Are you talking about 96 pin DIN 41612 connector? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VMEbus
Yes exactally. The P1 connector with 32 × 3 = 96 pins.

We can see in the pinout that the pins for power supply and common ground are designated.

How can I get part number of this P1 connector ? I would like to addin the schematic and layout of the custom designed board.
