High precision manual trimmer

Hello , I have a trimmer (knob variable resistor )
Unfortunately when I turn the knob it resistance turns in a very high rate .
Is the a trimmer for example of 1Kohm
Which will cover its range in 5 times more turns than usual?

Have seen up to 20T. But you also could look at
making trimpot part of a ladder, trading range for
resolution if that's sensible. You also want to think
about consequences of trimpot wiper bounce and
crust, for anything exposed to shock / vibe or much
humidity.

Exactly I am tuning YIG frequency with that thing .
I will take 10 ohm with 20 turns .
What do you mean bounce and other effects .
Is there a trimmer which is will not give me such problems ?

What is the ppm or uV resolution you want on control, and range of V desired ?

Hopefully, you are using the pot to bias a current mirror/sink with gain so that you don't dump a couple of watts into the pot.

Is it 20 GHz/Amp? = 20 MHz/mA
