Stacking glue for electronic components

I am looking for glue to stack electronic components on the PCB as a part of modifications where we need to glue the components on the PCB. The soldering with flying wires has to be done latter. Kindly let me know if you are aware of such glue to stack components on the PCB.
 

JB-Weld is good for high temp, as are some other harder-
to-find epoxies. I've used it on 300C test fixtures although
no idea of ultimate life expectancy, that high - outlasted
the oven, which burned itself out, is all I can say.

3M 5200 urethane is pliable, tough and sticks real well. No
idea about temp range.

Both take overnight to cure, longer if you can stand it. A
bit of moderate oven time can accelerate.

If you won't see high temp then plain old 5 minute epoxy
would be more convenient and reworkable.
 

How is high temperature important in glue electronics components in PCB assemblies.

3M 5200 comes with two tubes and we need to mix them or these are just two sizes and we can order any one to use ?

1- 3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant Fast Cure 5200 06520 10 fl. oz. cartridge (295 ml) - White
2- 3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant Fast Cure 5200 05220 3 fl. oz. tube (90 ml) - White

I guess no one of us can tell you about the tempereature situation of your application.
You should know best.

Consider:
* usual operation temperatures (closed box? low air flow? heat dissipation..)
* production temperatures (soldering via iron and/or reflow..)
* storage temperatures

5200 comes in various tube sizes, and color black or white. It's
often in auto and home improvement stores, and always in
marine supply places. It's single component and the rest of the
tube will be a brick in a week, so buy small sizes.
 

If we put the remaining 3M 5200 glue in the tube in the fridge after closing the cap, would it run longer and can be used again ?

I also have heard about 3M 2216 that comes with part A and part B. We need to mix them in ratio 1:1 to use.

How much it (3M 2216) is expansive then 3M 5200. Our application is just a prototype and we don't want an expansive one. Regarding temperature, I don't think that the PCB temperature would rise up to 100 degC but it would be great to have a glue that survive and remain hard even at some higher temperature for example 200 degC.

If you want it hard, high temp and not easy to rework,
go with the JB-Weld, 2-part epoxy in little tubes is available
everywhere (pretty much). The 2-part adhesives will not
self-cure from "incidental" exposure to air the way the
polyurethane 5200 will.
