If the dual active bridge topology is to be operated in bidirectional mode, then the DC blocking capacitor is placed in series with transformer winding to avoid core saturation.
Does this DC blocking capacitor is need in both primary & secondary windings of transformer?
Pls refer below topology schematic with only 1 DC block cap in primary.

Unless your control ( on the RHS ) ensures no build up of net DC current in the Tx pri - you need the blocking cap on both sides.
