Hi friends I am not sure whether this is the correct forum category to post this thread but i hope you will help me out..

I am studying about the HART Protocol which uses the FSK technique for transmission of data widely used in the industries for the 4 to 20 mA circuits... So here comes my freakish question.... If a DC Current is modulated and a low frequency is given to the signal will it not act as an AC Current...????????.. So is it like an AC Current flowing over the DC Voltage (24V for the loop)..
