This 3D scanner was inspired by a project that can be found at **broken link removed**.
The scanner was made to generate CNC paths based on the 3D model. All the cam-type programs have such a feature.

The scanner consists of:

Hardware:
  • 2 stepper motor drivers (one to drive the laser, which rotates the worm gear for lifting windows in the car; the second is optional rotating table drive)
  • Webcam, 500FX Powerc@m Flasch from Trust – Logitech 9000 pro recommended
  • Arduino with Atmega328
  • display
  • some electronic elements
  • laser level + tripod
  • calibraiton screen
  • PC

Software:
3D david laserscaner

Remember that the calibration process should take place with a well-lit calibration screen. Scanning on the contrary, the best in the dark.
