HI,

How to use tranformer in proteus ?? i want to use a 12/220v transformer @50hz but it is asking for primary inductance seconary nductance etc how to get those values.

Normally primary inductance is not considering for 50Hz power transformers, Primary inductance is important in high frequency transformers like SMPS transformers. For simulation you can give some approximate value (1H to 25H).
For calculation
Calculate primary impedance , Z = V/I
From impedance find out inductance
Z= √ [R^2+ (XL-XC)^2]
XL=2πfL
XC=1/2πfC

thanx smijesh ,

so basically in proteus the only thing which matters is k. ??
