hi to all!

Recently I started a research to build a portable anemometer. I tried to build an easter egg, but I didn´t find the 3-cup helixes to buy. So now, I´m trying to build a 3 transistor vector anemometer, that can be found here:

h**p://www.edn.com/archives/1997/090197/18di_03.htm

the idea seems to be good, but unfortunately, neither the article nor the figure/schematics are clear concerning the components used to build this anemometer.

So I have two questions to all you people.

Have someone built this 3-transistor vector anemometer? Is this works good?

Can someone provide the component's list of this circuit?

Best Regards

Hi

The idea is best on using transistor as an temperature seneor ,the win blowing on the transistor change the temp and by calculating the differance the win dir can be found

All the best
