Hi,
Please Any body suggest me a hand solder-able and easy to use 3.7V(1100~1500maH) lithium-ion battery charger ic . Most of the charger ics are too tiny to solder.

Re: 3.7v lithium-ion battery charget

Do you just need the name of an IC??? CT3582 is a DIP 8 IC, used in 3.7v lithium battery charger. I think it is easy to charge.

Yes, its english datasheet is not available. I searched out many sites. Only found the Chinese one. I translated it. See if this helps.

Regards

Re: 3.7v lithium-ion battery charget

I don't know its cost. I once found it in a chinese mobile charger circuit.

Re: 3.7v lithium-ion battery charget

Then I think it may be difficult to find it in market because some Chinese ICs are application specific but not standard parts.

Re: 3.7v lithium-ion battery charget

Yes, I think so.

Re: 3.7v lithium-ion battery charget

You're restricting yourself unnecessarily if you wish to stick with DIP.
e.g. MCP73826 and an external mosfet, the pins are almost 1mm apart, not hard to hand solder even with a normal soldering iron, as long as you practice a bit.
