How the splice & cutter works in a web printing machine ? In order to split or cut the web during the printing process so that the printed web could wind on a bare core or on a new core .....

there's splice arm, nip infeed & cutter (cutting blade) ......

there are solenoid valves , cylinders ........

the output is generated by PLC which is the input (actuation) of the solenoid valve .....

the problem is that the cutter is not actuating & hence no cutting is happening ....

would the outputs are generated 1 by 1 in a sequence by the PLC like first the splice arm would come over (meet to the web winding roll) by sensing the film with the help of sensor and then nip actuates & then the cutter ???? Or all of the three outputs would be generated by PLC at once ????

thank$$

its a sotech printing machine of 10 stations (can print upto 10 color to a web) ....

there's a solenoid valve & air cylinder to complete this task

not like the videos that you provided, i already told that there's a solenoid valve & air cylinder to complete this task with some sort of sensor that is synchronized with the shaft changing function ...... when the whole setup rotates for one complete rotation & hence the shafts change then the splice or cutter works
