[SOLVED] Designing Automatic Voltage Stabilizers

Need help in designing Automatic voltage stabilizer .... what will be the logic behind designing and what type micro controller to be used for this purpose.

AC or DC stabilizer? i guess you want to designing an AC stabilizer. look at EFY magazines august 2010 on page 64, has voltage stabilizer using 16F877A build by prof. K. Padmanabhan, S. Ananthi and Narayana Kumar. its a static voltage regulator, not a servo.

Are you using analog or digital ,or Micro-controller ?
Use comparator (LM324) its simple
please specify your needs i can help you .

i hope gccute need & also i have need Design of single phase stabilizers transformer. its as

1_ i\p 90 volt to 290 & o\p 200 volt to 240 volt.

2_i\p 140 volt to 440 & o\p 200 volt to 240 volt.

Thanks Irfan, I am going to make this circuit on proteus and check the operation if you can send me the controller program,

I have another circuit which I want you to confirm the IC's numbers I think they use 16F876A and LM324, Please check and confirm.

One more thing let me know the operation of relay it will operate one by one as per variation of voltage

Its simple, measures mains voltage and based on that data switch adequte trafo tap.

try this hex file

hi, this hex file is not working properly.
I checked it, in real time simulation.
I think you write this code with CCS compiler.
Only timer,over and under voltage section is ok.
And stabilizing section is not working.
All 3 relays become off at same time, when adc volts are 1.6v.
And become on together, again at 2.45v.
Over voltage occurs at 2.55v.
Over voltage restores at 2.40v.

TRY THESE .
1) Follow the diagram properly (transformer tapping must be same as diagram ).
2) Give 220v to stabilizer and Tune variable and to set output same as input.
3) use variable transformer to check it .

Give 220v to stabilizer and Tune variable and to set output same as input.

Of course, at that time all 3 stabilizing relays should on (energized).
Can you measure dc volts on pin 13, when output and input is same 220v ac.
