what happens when 1GHz pulse sig is appld to an antenna?

what is the diff in behaviour of ant to 1ghz pulse and 1ghz rf wave?

Hi.

A "pulse" alway includes not only the center freq (e.g. 1GHz) but also other frequencies. Your pulse is just a superposition of Sin-waves at all different freq. The behaivior of antenna excited by a pulse is determined by the behaivor of the antenna at all this different freq.
