Hi all,

I'm trying to simulate a 2x2 dipole antenna array in CST MWS 2010.

I'm using four 50Ω discrete ports to feed each dipole element and in "Stimulated Settings" activated the "Simultaneous Excitation" with all ports excited at the same time with equal magnitudes.

I want to do a parameter sweep and need to have a look at the return loss at each port.

I can't find the required s-parameter combination for the simultanous excitation in the "Results watch" section in the "parameter sweep" dialog box.

Could you please give me a hand to run a parameter sweep with s-parameter watch when several ports excited at the same time?

Or is there any other good method to simulate this kind of antenna array?

Thanks,

Hi there,

I tried to find a solution for this problem, but I couldn't find any answer.

What I did was, made separate structures with varied parameter and added all simulation files into a job qeue in CST.
It is a bit tedious task, however, it works well. Each simulation runs one after one...

hope this will be useful to somebody in some day...

Just shared one of my experiences with CST

regards
